About the client
Zanussi is a major Italian manufacturer of household appliances owned by Electrolux. Zanussi manufactures washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators and stoves. The company was founded In 1916 by the enterprising young Antonio Zanussi who began making stoves in North East Italy, but soon developed into manufacturing other inventive products.
About the project
We were asked to create an expandable packaging concept for Zanussi that needed to work in many different scales to be able to contain everything that Zanussi sells, ranging from small appliances like mixers and toasters, to vacuum cleaners and refrigerators.
Solution
The packaging design solution is based on the Zanussi primary colors, yellow and black, Italian lifestyle images and large product images. The layout framework is a stripe containing the logo, a lifestyle image, the product name and features wrapping around the packaging, a concept that is easily applied to all products and packaging shapes and sizes.
